Reviews
The cutest restaurant ever; from the decor to the chaotic menu. We got the mac and cheese, fried chicken sandwich, Brussels sprouts, crème brûlée, apple cheesecake, and buffalo califlower. The must is definitely the mac and cheese as well as crème brûlée, and cheesecakes. The mac and cheese was cheesy with a good amount of pull and each shell was ooey gooey. The cheese cake was perfect with the apple to balance its flavors. Crème brûlée was less sweet and good for people who don't like sweets that much. Buffalo califlower taste exactly like its name. The Brussels sprouts were a tad bitter with a bit too much glaze but steamed well. The Korean fried chicken sandwich was thick but well balanced with cucumber and onions with a good glaze. Overall, surprised by the food and service is good as well. The restaurant only have one bigger table so larger parties will have to separate. Best of all most of the food on menu is VEGAN.
Loved this place. Has a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Food is good and delicious, very flavorful.
Have been coming here since my teens and it's still one of my favorite places ever! They have an extensive menu with lots of different drink, food, and dessert options. Everything here is so good, I've never been disappointed. I did an apple crush and my friend went with the gypsy for her coffee. Halloween vibes all around when you're here, it's so fun!
"You put the line in the coconut..." H.Nilsson There's magic here..."Practical Magic". I don't know about you but I love a witchy, nineties vibe cafe. This is like "The Craft" meets "Gilmore Girls". Do I drag my boyfriend to take me at every chance I get?!?! Yes! Did my friend tell me she would take me anywhere and money was no object and I picked "Witches Brew"?!?! Yes! I loved the brussel sprouts, the hummus, the sandwiches, the nachos, the seasonal biscotti and so much more. I like the simplicity of the vegetarian and at times vegan options available. I wish it was closer so I could bring my ghoul-friends. To us, every day is Halloween! "And now..a warning" (Death Becomes Her). This place is HELLA popular! It will be difficult to snag a table at prime time. Plan accordingly. May I suggest, a ghoul date followed by some thrifting down the street. I must mention the huge array of beverages from coffee concoctions, teas and such. This is a perfect place for a frozen cappucino and a vegan cheesecake. All my friends who grew up in this area love this place and I can see why. BRING CASH!
Top tier food and desserts, they offer everything vegan as well so it's accessible and delicious! The Chocolate Lava Cake changed my life. I do not say that lightly. I had dinner with about 7 friends and we had the best time. I love that they still use the same old couches and coffee tables instead of matching furniture sets. Everything has a homey, cozy vibe that can't be recreated easily which is probably why this place is still open after all these years as a Long Island right-of-passage! My gnocchi was unbelivable, the poptart was phenomenal, and I'll never complain about an extensive coffee selection. My server was really cool as well, letting us take our time ordering and sharing everything. Can't wait to visit again :-)
